TORONTO, Aug. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - Spin Master Entertainment (SME), a division of Spin Master Corp. – a leading global children's entertainment company, is very pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Clunie to the role of Vice-President, Entertainment.

Effective immediately, Clunie who has been occupying the role of VP Girls and Preschool since February, will now spearhead all SME's business including creation, acquisitions, development, production, financing, distribution and newly launched digital platform, SpindoTV. 

Previously, at eOne Family, Clunie was VP of Creative Affairs and lead all creative initiatives for the group working across global hits such as Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. Prior to that, she was Producer for Chorion Ltd (now Silvergate Media) working across brand heavyweights such as Noddy, the Famous Five, Mr Men and Olivia.

Clunie is based out of Spin Master's Toronto office and will work closely with Ronnen Harary, Co-CEO and Co-Founder.
